Sportarm is thrilled to support the Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust (GWCT) once again.
For a field sports-filled spring weekend, GWCT Dorset are hosting their annual Wessex Inter Shoot Challenge on Saturday 27 April. Held at Chitcombe, Dorset by kind permission of Mr and Mrs Roderick Wurfbain, this is a superb event for shoots big and small.
With teams made of 3 entrants and 1 dog, this countryside competition involves:
Julian Brook-Fox of GWCT Dorset says, “Imagine standing at the foot of Jacobs Steps, one of the premier high pheasant stands in Dorset, the location of the 60 bird flush. Nearby is the lake where one of the guns needs to cast a fly accurately; alongside is the gun dog stand with an interesting ‘twist’. Poachers Corner is always challenging, but you can play to your strength by using a ‘joker’. This always makes for an amusing competition!”
Teams of both ladies & gentlemen can compete for the Sportarm of Dorchester Trophy, plus other prizes.
All competitors are invited to enjoy the BBQ, bar, raffle & trade stands.
