Boxlock

This beautiful yet traditional side by side Watson Bros boxlock shotgun is a fine example of true London craftsmanship. The 25” fixed choked barrels measure 1/2 and cylinder and come into their own on those fast snap shooting days, whether it’s walked up grouse or the agile snipe. It really does deserve to be broken over the arm of a true British gent once again. This 1931 example is in fantastic working order complete with ejector and a Churchill-style raised sighted rib, and with the strong name of Watson Bros behind it and wonderful wall thickness, the box lock still has many years of game shooting ahead of it. With a small choke adjustment, this boxlock shotgun from Watson Bros would be suitable for standard steel shot.
