This rare 20 bore Excalibur model ‘Dove’ shotgun is a limited edition, this example being number 17 of only 100 ever produced, making it very desirable among collectors. It has 32″ monoblock barrels, which make for a very popular combination in this calibre, and pattern beautifully at distance.
The engraving is a sublime deep ornamental scroll, with ‘Abbiatico & Salvinelli’ in gold on the bolsters by Luca Bertell, and the wood is exhibition grade Turkish walnut. Complete with fixed chokes, and solid ribs this is a truly modern day game gun. Its Woodward-style grip, steel grip cap, and automatic safety, confirm this Italian masterpiece as a true connoisseur’s piece.
